Step Type: Wait

The wait step type will send wait a certain number of hours before processing anything else. For example:

You set the delay to 4 hours, then the platform will wait 4 hours before moving to the next step.

NOTE: Be aware that if you were to set a delay of several hours, and then you want to send a communication, but you have now gone past the allowed timeframe you have configured, then the message would wait until the next allowed point in time to send. Say you want to wait 4 hours and then send an email. This is triggered at 4pm, and you don't allow emails after 5pm. The delay would wait till 8pm, and then the email would be sent the next day when it is allowed to

Creating the Step

When you create a delay, the palette will change to this:

Simply set the days and hours that you want to delay. A day will add 24 hours at a time to the overall delay.
